The Hat that Everyone Needs

Last year when we went camping Miss Marlee J pulled out this amazing Camo hat that had built in LED lights.

Whats that you say?

Yes, the hat had a built in FLASHLIGHT.

GENIUS!

As soon as I saw it I fell in love.

I asked Marlee if she would be so kind as to pick up a hat for me the next time she was in her home and native land.

Lo and behold, I got one!

If this hat is not epic, I don’t know what is.

It is the coolest, handiest, greatest hat EVER. It was so amazing that it kept getting stolen from me while camping. Whys that you ask? BECAUSE EVERYONE WANTS ONE!!!

You gotta represent the hood, and you gotta see in the dark.

So I finally got my two NEW pairs of Serena Denim Leggings from Mavi this past week. I am sooo obsessed with them.

Charcoal & Royal are the new additions to my collection. I can’t tell you just how much I love them! The colours are amazing, and will be perfect for Spring.

Depending on the wash of these Denim Leggings prices range from $79 – $88.

A big thanks goes out to Kendall from Mavi who was kind enough to get me, and the girls at work, these jeans.

I’m probably going to wear these every day now.

I can’t wait to see what Mavi has in store for Fall!

P.S. Mavi doesn’t pay me to say this, I am actuallly this obsessed with their Denim Leggings!

I live in a city of rain. A city with lots and lots of rain.

The only umbrella I own is the one that is falling apart in my car that I use to run from car door to front door. It is black, and tiny, and useless.

But, I guess when you drive everywhere and just go from door to door, a beautiful umbrella is not really essential in life. Especially if you never leave the house to do anything active in the rain. But then I thought to myself, I like beautiful things, I like accessories that are fun and bright and funky. Why do I not have one of the West Coasts most essential item in a funky print or pretty colour?

It has now come to my attention that I must fill this missing piece in my life. My goal – a Clear PVC Birdcage Umbrella.

I’ve decided to go with a clear umbrella because ever since I was a kid, I always found them to be amazing. What? You have the ability to SEE THRU an umbrella!? SOLD!

I also like the idea of the Birdcage, or Bubble shape as they call it, because it reminds me of being retro and the 60s and I just love everything about that.

I did a quick search on the Internet and everything I found that I loved was from the UK. Damn you England and your beautiful umbrellas. We have lots of rain too but I don’t see any beautiful umbrellas. I’m going to do some research on Umbrella shops in the lower mainland. There has to be some place here with cute umbrellas. If not, it looks like I will be ordering something off the net.

Any ideas on where I can find a cute Clear PVC Birdcage Umbrella?

So here we are! A new year and a new project.

As time goes on this blog will grow and expand. Right now it is only in the beginning stages.
