The clothes are super cute, and slowly but surely I will start liking the idea of Fall more and more, but for now, they just stay in the closet!

During the summer months – June and July – most of the clothing and accessories in our stores goes on sale, and there’s usually not a lot of new items entering the warehouse.  Fall doesn’t start shipping until early August, so monthly purchases go down to virtually nothing. I did, however, manage to pick up a few items in our last shipment of new Summer merchandise.

It’s All In The Cargo

I found my cargo pants! Woot Woot! This is the first time I’m wearing pants that aren’t made of DENIM in what….180 day!? I know, I’m a bit of a denim whore.

I got these beauties free from work. The boss found them in her office one day and I was the only one who fit them so they were mine. Score! I forgot how awesome they are. Totally bringing these to Italy!

I paired these cargo loves with my A-symmetrical Plum T and light weight Plum sweater. The tones of the colours all work together so nicely.

Black accessories were a must, so I went with a black wrap leather bracelet, black beaded necklace, black braided belt, and my black sandals.

I love this outfit.

Nude Knee High Fishnets
Let me just take a moment to inform you of how amazing these are. My aunt was the one who bought these for me and tipped me off to their genius ability to be useful. They are excellent for wearing with flats or high heels, where you foot isn’t totally covered and you can’t wear socks. They all add that need barrier between your foot and your shoe so that your foot doesn’t get all sweaty and gross. I use to wear little nylon socks, but they were so ghetto that I just gave up and went bare foot. Now, with these fishnets, every time I want to wear a shoe without socks, I slip these puppies on and it’s magic!

I’m a Little Girl Again

When Alicia and I went shopping yesterday, we stopped by Army &  Navy to see if they had anything interesting in stock. As sketchy as Army & Navy can be, every now and then you can find something really cool. I ended up snatching these sneakers for $7! I was pretty excited with them.

I wore them out on Sunday as I had a bit of running around to do. Chad was having the boys over to watch Tiger play golf, so I ran over to Costco (which is like having a death wish on a Sunday) to get some fresh pizza and chips. Well, it was a nut house in there and it took me an hour and 3 staff members help before I found the damn pizza. I was not impressed!

Putting together this casual Sunday run-around outfit, made me realize that my Peacock t-shirt needs to be officially retired. It has this weird over all grey look to it now, and even though it is NOT dirty, it just really looks dirty. I think it’s becoming a PJ top tonight. No more going out in this puppy.

Wearing my Charcoal denim leggings rolled up at the bottom with my new sneakers is probably going to be my new favorite thing to do. The only negative is, on a cold day, that inch of ankle that is exposed ends up FREEZING! Hahah sad, but true.

So I finally got my two NEW pairs of Serena Denim Leggings from Mavi this past week. I am sooo obsessed with them.

Charcoal & Royal are the new additions to my collection. I can’t tell you just how much I love them! The colours are amazing, and will be perfect for Spring.

A big thanks goes out to Kendall from Mavi who was kind enough to get me, and the girls at work, these jeans.

I’m probably going to wear these every day now.

I can’t wait to see what Mavi has in store for Fall!
