Enter the Crazy House

If I look crazy, it’s probably because I am. Haha.

I’ve got another hair nest going on.

I don’t know where my time goes anymore. It’s like I’m always running around trying to catch up. This weekend is going to be nuts. Lets see how insane I get.

Charcoal Serena Denim Leggings
White V-Neck T
Stripped Kersh Sweater the softest love of my life
Old Chain with a Key
Chuck Taylors

Everything seems way to tight and form fitting on me today and it was the kind of day where I didn’t want anything tight and form fitting on. Fancy that. I also felt like my legs were going to explode in these pants. They were so tight for some reason, and I swear I haven’t gained any weight. I don’t know what the hell happened.

Needless to say, I’m putting sweat pants on when I get home.

Orange in the Face

Last night I did not have a good sleep. I think it was partially because of  the pouring rain outside beating on the apartment and my fear that all my plants were dead. Yes, that’s what I think about all night long; what the weather is like, and if my plants will survive it. Sad but true.

This was also the first day Chad went back to work after the whole foot ankle break delio, so we got up earlier then normal. This lead to me not wanting to make a decision on what to wear today. I kind of wanted to just go in my Pjs.

My comprimise with myself was to wear my Dish Jeans, Chuck Taylors, a wonderfully soft and bringhtly coloured Kersh V-Neck sweater, and a new scarf to match.

Pretty snaz if you ask me.

I lucked out that the sweater and scarf matched so well. The sweater isn’t actually that bright in person. It’s called Papaya.

I think my sweater is what actually convinced the sun to come out in the afternoon and play.

Is It 2003 Again?

Hey look, there is pink in my hair! Don’t worry, it’s not permanent, its just a clip on!

I went and had my hair did by Miss Marlee J this morning as I will be participating in her Grad Hair Show next weekend. She dyed my whole head with a beautiful, rich, red-toned colour that is a little darker then my natural colour. I absolutely love it, tho it did take some getting use to seeing my hair so dark. The style she will be doing on my next week has pink in it, so she put the extensions in for me to play with for the week. I love love love them, though others had a different opinion. I’ve always wanted pink in my hair, so I’m excited that I actually have the option to do it now!

Considering the new do, I felt it only appropriate to play up my new ‘punk’ feel.

Black Scoop Neck T from Plum
Black Ribbed Waist Cardigan from Kersh
Straight Leg Jeans from Dish
Chuck Taylors
Pink Pearls from Value Village

I love my new hair, and I love it even more when it’s PINK!

The Comfort Zone

See, you can just tell when you are wearing something you are comfortable in how much it shows. I should probably just stick to things I KNOW look good and make me feel good, even if that means a whole lot of leggings and plaid. Some girls who have fashion blogs only wear skirts, or dresses, or florals, so why do I feel the need to mix it up so much when clearly I am not comfortable it that? Who knows.

Usually I wear my leggings over my Chuck Taylors, but today I decided to tuck them IN and wear my Chucks open laced. I really like the way this looks. It’s funky and stylish.

I wore my Mavi plaid blouse over top of a long white tank top and kept everything else accessory free (well, aside from a small hair clip).

I love this outfit. This is me.

Isn’t it still the Weekend?

“Weekend wear” carried over from Sunday to Monday, today. I just couldn’t shake the comfy bug. Plus is was so rainy and gross this morning, all I wanted was to be cozy and relaxed.

I wore my Mavi Jeans, and my American Apparel crew neck sweatshirt. I layered it with a long white t-shirt and then wore Chuck Taylor’s to complete the casual work.

To add a bit of interest I wore a little hair pin with a turquoise flower at the top of my pony tail that I got at Forever 21, and a pair of square bangles I got at Value Village.

I felt casual, but cute, which is the perfect way, in my books, to transition from Sunday to Monday!

Warehouse Misadventures

These days all seem so weird, and then these weird days turn into weird weeks, and all I keep thinking is, “wasn’t last week the weird week and wasn’t this week suppose to be the normal week?”. Today was no different. It must have been the fact that there was basically no one in the office and I just couldn’t figure out what to do with my life. Then Claudia, Alicia, and I went stir crazy and went a bit nuts in the warehouse.

I stayed up later then I should have last night so this morning I was in no mood to get up. My outfit reflex’s that! A casual Friday with no one to impress, I might as well take advantage of it!

Even thought everyone at work makes fun of me for my ghetto jeans with all the rips, I love them too much to give them up. They are so ripped now that if I wear knee high socks you can see them through my jeans. Haha. I just think that’s awesome.

I went for the triple layer today. A simple white scoop neck t-shirt from Plum layered with a black Kersh sweater vest, layered with my teal Kersh boyfriend cardigan. Simple and cozy for a lazy girl on a lazy Friday. Every time I wear a sweater vest I think of Chandler from Friends, and as nerdy as they might seem, I still love them!

This necklace I bought in the summer, I believe from Suzy Shier. Kind of a random purchase as I usually don’t shop there, but I was with a friend and this necklace caught my eye. Are they feathers or are the leaves? I don’t really know but I love they way they sit just below my neck. Plus, they frame my scar nicely! Hahah.

Just another fun Friday in the warehouse.

In The Warehouse

I spent the afternoon moving rolls of fabric around in the warehouse. It only made sense to dress a little more comfy then usual. Enter in Converse Chuck Taylor’s and Argyle Socks!

My ghetto jeans are from Mavi. I don’t even remember when I got them; probably a few years back. They had this nifty little feature about them where the back knee was perma creased and had tiny tears in it. Cute and cleaver at first, ghetto and trashy now. Haha. The more I wear them the more they rip and the more my heart actually loves them. I can’t wear them anywhere special any more, but I still find them entertaining jeans. I mean, who’s jeans NATURALLY rip in the back knee? Rip, more like Shread!

On top I have a Plum cap sleeve t-shirt with a gathered scoop neck in dark grey. Grey has been my colour obsession for the past year and a bit. I layered it with a Kersh v-neck long sleeve sweater in none other then Sea Foam green. Oh Sea Foam *sigh*.

The necklace Chad bought me for Christmas last year from Urban Outfitters. It took him a year to notice that it had little Jewish Star of Davids all over it. Aww, Chad!

Argyle socks are my secret weapon.
