Day 338-1
Day 338-2

Its Time For Christmas Balls!

Our annual Christmas Party is tonight. The house is fully decorated and everything is ready! I love having all the Christmas stuff out. The lights make everything look so much more cozy.

This outfit is kind of a repeat (ok it IS a repeat) but there is a legitamate reason for it, other then the fact that I  just wanted to wear it again. Since tonight is technically a night in, I wanted to FINALLY bust out a pair of knitted Dex leggings I bought at Christmas last year. They are so warm and cozy and I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to wear them. Only problem is I don’t own many tops that cover my butt. Thankfully, The Garage makes extra long Ts and so this tank top worked perfectly. Topped off with my Dex Chanel inspired sweater and I had the perfect Holiday outfit!

Now, I clearly need to invest in more long tops, especially since I have more fun leggings waiting for me on my rack at work. Leggings are not PANTS, remember, so wearing a top that does not cover your front junk and your back junk is NOT allowed! Haha.

Thankfully, I am all covered tonight!

Holding It All Together

I swear, no matter how much you prepare, sometimes you are never prepared enough. I’m so happy I have the whole day off tomorrow, because I have so much to do and catch up on. Every night this week has been a bust and now I am so behind.

I look the way I feel; totally drained.

I barely got up this morning, and half of my stuff is packed, so clearly, I am not worried about style.

Time to get organized!

Day 240-1

Party at the Heagles

Today was a busy, busy day!

Chad, his sister and I hosted a 60th birthday for his parents at his grandparents house today. Lots of work was put into this by everyone. Tons of food, wine, and good times.

I was able to sneak away for a quick photo in the hall. It’s somewhat embarrassing taking photos of your outfit in front of 40 family and friends!

Yes, today I repeated an outfit, but I love this one so I just had to do it again.

I changed it up this time around by wearing a cream cardi from Forever 21, a brown leather belt, smoke agoya shell necklace, and some flip flops. I totally felt like I was on vacation or going on a safari. I just LOVE this outfit!

I wish I had gotten a couple more shots, but oh well. Time to go hunting for some Lions!

Day 239-1
Day 239-2
Day 239-3

Friday at the White House

Perfect weather for me, is when I can wear Jeans & Flip Flops with a T-shirt and Cardi. Today, we were pretty much there.

I’m a pant girl. I like pants. I like jeans. I like not having to really show off my overly pale legs to the world. I mean, yea, hot summer days and pretty skirts are fun and all, but right now I am loving jeans.

I pulled this old Kersh long sleeve v-neck off the shelf in my closet, not realizing that it has a growing hole on the side of it. It’s ok, I call it ghetto chic. I also spent all day cutting fabrics which mean I had randomly coloured fibers all over me, so I looked super dirty by the time I got home. Not good!

The belt, which you can’t really see, is a cute little white and green striped cloth belt that I got once upon a time when I worked at Bootlegger. It also came with a cute little rose pin, made out of the same fabric. I think I left that back at the parentals.

Dish jeans, of course. I can’t figure out if I should take these bad boys, or my other ones to Italy. I’m kind of thinking the other one, because the amount of ‘stuff’ going on on these ones can be a bit much depending on what top you wear. I actually had to change 3 times because the original tops I had chose just didn’t got with all the paint splaters and markings on the jeans.

Green flip flops FTW. They are one of two pairs that are still alive and well. Everything else need major replacement!

Summer Breeze

Sun and clouds, seasonal organization, running around. That is exactly what today was like.

I’m really enjoying work these days because there is lots going on and there is lots that involves me. It’s also that time of the year when all the fun stuff happens. Ordering fabrics, organizing the season, picking group names. I’ve probably been the most involved in the set up and organization of the season this year and I am loving every minute of it!

I had fun in todays outfit. The only reason I bought this ‘shark bite’ tank from Plum is because Claudia was obsessed with it and made me try every colour on. She was right, it is pretty amazing and I probably should have bought more then one colour! Oh well.

Just hangin’ out being cool.

Cowgirl on the Beach

Matt and I went for dinner down in English Bay today. It was so nice out that after dinner we ate ice cream and just sat in the grass staring out at the ocean. It was so, so nice. I love English Bay. I need to go down there more often.

I don’t know what gave me the idea to dress like I was out of hicks ville today, but I just went with it.

This super cute lavender plaid blouse is from Esprit and I decided to tuck it into my yoga jeans, just in the front. I have this thing with only tucking in my shirts in the front, but not the back. It’s my way of getting length, but showing off my belt. I might look silly doing it, but in my head I think I’m cool.

I matched my brown belt from Plum with my brown flip flops from Payless. I am a flip flop whore and clearly try to wear them every day. They are just so easy, and I am all about easy. Yes I just said that.

I’m totally becoming more inpsired with brown leathers and I think that is something I’m going to buy a lot of this fall. The warehouse is already packed with some pretty cute pieces, I just need to make them mine!

Now, where did I leave my horse?

No Picnic

It’s crazy how I can go from Super Model to Garbage Collector in a matter of 24 hours. Sad but true. Haha.

We were suppose to have a picnic today with friends, and I had a really cute picnic outfit picked out and then it started to rain and got cold and everything got canceled. So instead I just through on a tank top and a hoodie. Totally lame, I know.

The boys, however, did join us for dinner. Dario & Colin spent the afternoon at our place and we BBQ’d up some meat. It was good times. I also got a whole wack load of papers and stuff organized while they watched Football which was a total bonus!

I’m stuck in my new Dish Jeans again. Sorry. Too much love going on here.

Lazy Sundays are great!

Day 232-3

Oh Surrey

Surprise last minute dinner in the real ‘burbs tonight. I think the parentals of Mr. & Mrs. T are going to get a little annoyed that we keep getting invited over for din din and they still haven’t! Oh well.

I’m glad this week is over. There was a lot of stuff that had to get done, and did get done, but I still feel like there could have been more done. I’m just a nut case like that. I’m hoping to get rid of a huge pile of magazines I have accumulating on my floor at home. It’s been sitting there for WAY too long.

The weather was all whacked when I got up this morning so this outfit doesn’t make any sense.

Printed T from the Garage, I think I bought this when I was in grade 12 or something. I can’t really remember.
White Tank from Plum
Navy Mavi Denim Leggings
Charcoal Kersh Cocoon Sweater
Flip Flops

See, none of that makes any sense.

Blue Me, Blue You

Today is Wednesday. That kind of feels weird for some reason.

We went shopping tonight. I wanted to buy new flip flops because the ones I’m wearing are death traps. If there is a little bit of water on the ground I will slip and kill myself. Happened at Ryan & Elise’s wedding. I know it’s not very smart to look for new flip flops at the end of the season, but I’m not very smart in general. Old Navy was sold out of everything except Neon Pink & Orange, and size 10s. Thanks, but that doesn’t work for me. Chad was with me so I didn’t want to drag him all over the mall so I just gave up.

Next Summer – MUST FIND FLIP FLOPS.

I feel like I have already worn this exact same outfit. I guess it wouldn’t take too much effort to just go back and check, but I’m really that lazy/busy.

I just love this striped Kersh sweater so much. Le sigh, it’s dreamy and soft.

Mavi Boyfriend Jeans and an Esprit top all from Plum cause I don’t actually shop anywhere else it seems. You just can’t be a one stop shop.

I need to rid myself of these flip flops of death.

Day 214-1
Day 214-2
Day 214-3

ICK!

I totally dislike these pictures and this outfit. :(

I got to parade around all day in my PJs since we had no plans for this holiday Monday. I would have been better off taking a photo of that!

After dinner Chad and I decided to pop over to the movie theater to see Inception. The weather was kind of all over the place and I had no idea what to wear, so I thought this would be a good idea. Not so much.

The tank top I got back in the day when I worked at Bootlegger and I’ve been holding on to it ever since. Not really sure why since I never wear tank tops like this. I think its the colour that still gets me. It was at the height of my Army Colours obsession. I still love army colours, I just don’t wear them as often. Anyways, this tank top is definitely no longer my favorite.

Mavi Boyfriend Jeans, Plum Belt, and Kersh Sweater were thrown into the mix.

Perhaps I would feel differently about this outfit if my hair wasn’t a giant bush of grossness. It was all curly and cute today and clearly died right before these pictures were taken.

Today was not a day for great outfits.
