Day 213-2

I Ain’t Doin’ Nothin

Friday we got home at 4am.
Saturday we  got home at 2am.
Today, I am not doing anything.

Well, thats partially a lie. We did go out for an hour walk, and we did go to Church in the evening, but other then that, NOTHING!

This was about as much effort as I wanted to put in to today’s outfit.

Black Strawberry

This happens every time. Whenever I am told that I will most likely be spending the day working away in the warehouse, I dress for it, and then never end up making it to the warehouse. This means that tomorrow will have to be the ‘warehouse day’, but I bet you any money it will be postponed until Friday. That means 3 days of non ‘pretty’ outfits, and all I want to do is wear a skirt!

Oh well, what can you do.

I’m really loving these Plum cargo carpi’s this summer. They are so comfy to wear and just fun to putt around in.

I decided to try a different way of layering this Kersh tank. I wore a thicker ribbed tank underneath. Kind of makes it feel every aerobic, or like I’m straight of the army, which I kind of love. I’m fighting the wore on bad fashion.

The seagull necklace is from Urban Outfitters and the wrap leather bracelets are from Plum.

My strawberry hair pin is from Barefoot Contessa.

I now wear every outfit thinking of how it would translate if I brought it to Italy with me. This is definitly one of them!

A Little Bit of a Mess

Doesn’t it feel like I wear this outfit a lot? It does to me. It’s just such an easy thing to grab for on mornings when I can’t really think about anything but going back to bed.

Today was a bit of a cooler day, so surprisingly enough, denim leggings and a sweater had to be involved. I actually thought it was going to rain when I got up this morning.

Nothing really to say today. You’ve all seen this before.

Grey Plum A-Line T (I realized today that I keep calling my A-Line T-shirts, A-Symmetrical T-shirts which is the wrong terminology, and I’m totally embarrassed by it.)
Teal Kersh Sweater
Navy Mavi Denim Leggings
Green Flip Flops

This is an awkward angle for photos by the way.

Day 200-3
Day 200-4

I’ve been doing this for 200 days!?

That’s a lot of days, and a lot of pictures! Kind of crazy to think about.

It’s taking me a while to get back into the swing of things. Everything seems to be falling apart around me because I ignored so many things while focusing all on helping Elise with the wedding. I feel stressed just thinking about all the things I have to catch up on!

Today’s comfort outfit is brought to you by Dish Jeans, Plum Tank, some random Australian Tank, flip flops, and a key  necklace!

I also enjoy how the placement of my bun makes me look like a boy. Probably should have opted for the Hipster bun and not the Nonna bun.

Tomorrow, I will catch up on everything, and everything WILL be better!

The Friday Before

While everyone ran around today and helped out with last minute wedding planning, I stayed back in the office and worked. It was LAME! I totally felt left out and just wanted to run away and help everyone. However, my moment in time came, and I was called upon to deliver a special package to the hall and got my 5 minutes of Wedding Set-up joy!

We spent the evening getting our nails done, doing last minute girl things, and of course, drinking champagne.

I’ve got too much on my mind and plate these days, so for a Friday spent traveling around the city I grabbed my first and only pair of Golf Shorts. Random I know, but there is a story.

Back in college we did internships with local design companies. Mine happened to take place at Lija which is a company that makes awesome golf apparel for women. I loved it because it was full of Plaid and Argyle. At the end of my internship they gave me a discount card to buy a couple things as a Thank You for the work I had done. I chose my favorite golf short & jacket combo that they had that season, along with a great belt. All very matchy matchy, but so friggin cute! If I ever have the chance to play golf I’ll be the best dressed girl on the course!

So, today I chose my golf shorts and basic white T, with some fancy earrings to make my head sparkle! Haha.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! Wish me luck on my Matron of Honour duties!

Day 190

Day 190-2

Hanging Out In The Back Alley

This is the first Friday night of the Summer where we’ve actually made plans to go hang out on a Patio for the evening. I know, it seems a little late, but you know who to blame for that.

We met our friends at their new False Creek apartment and headed down to the water for drinks and appies.

I purposely wore an outfit today that would easily transition from day to night.

This is one of my favorite summer outfits and I’ve been waiting for the day where I could finally wear it out.

The skirt is from Kensie and has a great elastic waistband and back exposed zipper. The only problem with this skirt is the longer you wear it the easier the zipper unzips itself with out you even having to touch it. The elastic is meant to be so tight around your waist that it pulls the zipper open all on it’s own. It’s really annoying actually. Next time I will have to safety pin it.

The easiest thing to do with this skirt is to tuck a simple tank top or t-shirt in. I chose this purple tank top from Plum.

I also wore my multi strand chain necklace, and forgot to change into my evening shoes. Oh well, flip flops it is!

This is such a fun and flirty look!

The Plaid Bunch

The weather is suppose to change, and this time, I actually believe them.

This outfit is way to Fall to wear in Summer, but the flip flops are my excuse as to why it works.

I was also pretty lazy today.

Hopefully Summer will arrive tomorrow.

Mavi Plaid 3/4 Sleeve Top
White Ribbed Plum Tank
Mavi Jean
Flip Flops

At least the flowers look pretty!

The Only One at Work

That’s right, it’s just me and my computer today. But it’s OK, sometimes its nice when the office is quite and its just you and your music. I tend to get a lot done when that happens, and with the amount of work on my plate right now, I’m grateful for it.

I’m not really sure why my hair is so greasy in all these pictures. Probably cause it was in a messy bun for the majority of the day.

I love this outfit. So me.

Dish plaid tank top layered with a Plum ribbed tank top.
Dish Jeans & Flip Flops
Seagull Necklace

Simple but fun for a Friday left on my own!

PS. I’m officially half way through the year! YAY!

Dress Weather

I love this dress, but I definitely need to shorten it a tad.

It was great to finally get to wear some of my summer dresses. This one is from Plum and I bought it a few Summers ago I think. The bust area doesn’t fit me great, but it is easy to layer it with a tank top and it looks great!

I wore my sandals all day, but they were killing my feet with all the walking we were doing, so I had to switch to the flip flops.

There’s a lot of print going on, so I just wore my long wire heart chain necklace.

I think dinner deserves an outfit change.
