We Don’t Know the Meaning of Relaxation

Look at that, I’m actually in a tank top! Yes, it’s true, the afternoon was quite warm today. Chads parents left this morning, so we got to spend the day ‘somewhat’ relaxing. A few visits here and there, but compared to all the other days, it was relaxing.

Grey Days in the North

The weather hasn’t been too great since we arrived up in our home town. Didn’t they know we were coming? We made it to Bassano today, to walk over the Old Bridge, one of my favorite things to do. Bassano is one of the cutest places, and it was extra cool that they had a Sports day today and all these kids were participating in every sport imaginable. Super cute!

You Ain’t No Leaning Tower of Pisa

Yea, that’s right, I’m in Pisa, Bitches. Actually, Pisa isn’t that exciting, except for it’s leaning tower and fancy buildings around it. But, you do need to visit it once in your life, and I’ve done my share, times two.

Hello Rome!

I am probably way to white to be wearing this outfit in public. You should see the other photos, I’m actually a ghost. Also, no one in Italy wears shorts. Spot the tourist!

Holy Mother of Heat

Today I died. Straight up, DEAD. The fan broke last night so we melted as we attempted to sleep. Today we has our family picnic, under the shade of a tree, but it was still way too hot.

I now also know why you are suppose to wear blousy tops when it’s not out and not body fitting tank tops. I might as well have glued the tank top to my body it kept me so frigging warm. NOT SMART. I had heat delusions while getting dressed this morning.

The Colours, They All Go

I had to go to on of our factories today, only I had no car, so Miss Alicia was kind enough to drive me. I even got a photo shoot out of it. Score!

It’s Friday, and I was a freaking stressful morning and a half. I couldn’t calm down from everything until mid afternoon. It was a bit crazy. I ran into a disaster 5 minutes before leaving last night and no one was around to help solve it, so I spent all night panicking over it, and all morning trying to deal with it. I was exhausted by the end of it :(

This outfit is pretty much my current favorite colour combination. Greys and Purples all today. Actually, they are exactly the same as Elise’s wedding colours. Interesting.

I cuffed up my Dish jeans twice instead of the usual once so they would have more of a ‘cropped’ feel. I am now obsessed with Cuffed Straight Leg jeans, to the point where I never want to wear anything else now. Sorry Denim Leggings…

Everything else you know. Aritzia T, Kersh Sweater, Plum Necklace, Birkenstocks.

I am in love with purples and greys.

Sunday in the North

It seems like almost every Sunday we are at the parentals doing something or other. It usually involves Chad washing his car, or me scrapbook pictures from our Honeymoon. Yea, I still haven’t finished that!

Even though I was stuck in the basement working away while Chad was outside enjoying the sun, I still felt like dressing up as if I was going on a Safari.

Friday afternoon, I walked into our warehouse and saw that a bunch of the Summer sale stuff had been returned from the stores. Low and behold, this glorious hat was sitting there, all alone, waiting for a home. I have drooled over this hat all Summer long, but lost my chance to buy it once it went out to all the stores. Since none of the Plum locations are close to wear I live, I never shop in store, so I thought my dream of owning this hat was lost. Well, clearly it was fate, as soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant to be mine!

I LOVE THIS HAT!

Now, if only I actually had room to store all my hats…

To go with my new favorite Hat, I wore another Plum outfit. A charcoal tank top with a pair of green cargo shorts from a couple seasons back.

Leather studded cuff, Birkenstocks, and a silver leaf necklace.

I really should be going somewhere in this outfit.

The Old Man Comb Over

This is another one of those cases where my hair looked good when I left the house..I swear.

Today was an awesome day in the city of Vancouver. We spent the whole day at the PNE grounds spending the afternoon watching the horse races, and the evening watching the BC Lions Home Opener. Quite an exciting day for us.

For a Saturday casual going out, outfit, I chose to wear my favorite plaid shorts that I got from Le Chateau of all places, a few years back when they were on sale for cheap. Best thing I’ve ever bought from the Chateau.

I tucked in my A-symmetrical Plum T, and added my teal YSL belt. A simple strand of colourful beads, brown flip flops, and a cute straw fedora completed my look.

This was the perfect outfit to spend the day running around in.

Too bad I look like I have a comb over…

Sometimes I Do Good

Ok, I’m in love with this outfit.

I mean, other then the fact that I look like I have a tiny waist and football player shoulders, I pretty much love everything about this look. Minus my crappy bangs.

The colours are kind of fall-esque, but I love them anyways.

This is the classic tabbed sleeve blouse I bought from Plum ages ago and FINALLY wore it. It’s so stupid to buy something you love and then leave it in your closet forever.

The girls and I were going out for dinner after work so I wanted something to transition. I think this outfit worked perfectly!

Plum Tabbed Sleeve Blouse
Mavi Serena Denim Leggings
Plum Silver Belt
Plum Beaded Chain Necklace
Plum Purse
Target Sandals

I love this necklace, the only problem with it is the paint from the beads rubs off and you get a nice grey dye job all around your neck. Kinda awkward!

Can I skip around in this outfit every day?

Grey Tones

Hey look, I’m wearing a lot of grey! Haha!

I was kind of apprehensive about doing a head to toe grey outfit today. I thought I might blend in too well with the side walk. I think the reason this grey ensemble actually works is because each piece is a different shade of grey, and each piece had a different texture, therefore adding some dimension to the outfit.

I wore my Charcoal denim leggings from Mavi, a deep v blousy knit top from Plum, and my boyfriend cardigan from Kersh. The only problem with wearing a sweater with this knit top, is the the sweater pushed everything forward and when you aren’t paying attention half of your bra is exposed at any given moment. I had many of those moments today!

The great thing about wearing a monotone outfit like this, is it gives you the perfect canvas for a statement necklace. I purchased this piece from 21 in LA last fall and I have been waiting for the right opportunity to pull it out. The dark tone of Today’s outfit gave me the perfect chance to display such a bright and happy necklace. It’s so colourful; I absolutely love it! Because it is made of metal, it is a bit rough against the skin, but a little pain for a lot of beauty is worth it!

I also wore my black gladiator sandles because they added some interest down below, and the gold buckles matched nicely with the gold chain in the necklace. Unfortunetly, it’s actually not warm enough to have ones feet this exposed. I froze once I left work!

I think this outfit is really fun, enough though it’s really grey!
