I Am Loosing My  Mind

All day long I said to Chad, ‘remember, you have to take a picture of me today’. I don’t know why I just didn’t get him to take a picture instead of reminding him every 5 minutes, but what do you want from me. I am going to admit it, this Blog is starting to become a burden, and I’m almost finished it. This back log of Italy pictures is killing me. Anyways, I washed my face, got ready for bed and then realized I had failed. So I got up, got dressed and shoved the camera in Chads hands!

Style It Before You Die

When one decides they are going to ‘walk to 5 towns’ they think – piece of cake. When that person then gets told “it’s quite the hike”, you would think they would then dress appropriately. Hum…well, not so much. I had limited clothing with me and seriouslydid NOT think it would be like doing the Grouse Grind up AND down. Sweet Mother. While not all of the Cinque Terre were death traps on a mountain, some were, and I was not prepared for it. This casual relaxed picture of me then became me with just a T-shirt and my jeans rolled up. I was not expecting the Sun to come out and scorch us either. Lesson Learned!

Hey There, Christopher Columbus

Spending the morning in Genoa, doing a little self guided tour, and we stumbled upon the house that Christopher Columbus was born in! We didn’t go in, but it was still a neat find and walk around. Genoa is a very interesting city, just because most of it is so random.  It’s kind of hard to explain, but it wasn’t what I expected.

Lago di Como

Lake Como has got to be one of my favorite stops on the trip. We stayed in the city of Varenna and it was absolutely beautiful, even with the not so great weather. I would love to go back in the Summer and spend a week relaxing by the water. This was such a great last minute addition.

Milan, HEY OOO

We took a train to Milan, Bitches! That is right, I am ‘in the fashion captial of the world and dressed like a Hobo’. Thanks Chad, love you too.

It is true though. I was not excpeting it to be this cold, and we only brought a backpack each with us, so there clearly wasn’t any room for options. Somewhat sick + freezing cold = Total Disaster!!!

Today, I No Feel Good

As you can tell by my disaster of an outfit. Clearly I was not thinking straight. My head was clogged with gross things. Eww. I had a nap in the afternoon that was much needed.

We Don’t Know the Meaning of Relaxation

Look at that, I’m actually in a tank top! Yes, it’s true, the afternoon was quite warm today. Chads parents left this morning, so we got to spend the day ‘somewhat’ relaxing. A few visits here and there, but compared to all the other days, it was relaxing.

The Sun Will Come Out in Venice

And so it did. Talk about HEAT. Who would have thought that was going to happen!?

We didn’t spend a lot of time in Venice. Well, the whole day, but we could have spent way more time there. Just a beautiful city, as you can imagine.
